Thealbum is dedicated to Nancy-Lee’s late husband Jack. St Theresa Of The Roses was one of his favourites and Nancy-Lee sings it with heart. Nancy-Lee has chosen fifteen classic covers to supplement the five originals – four by Nancy-Lee and one written and performed by her son Darren Monk. His I’ll Send You Butterflies shows that talent runs in the family. Nancy-Lee’s charming My Butterfly and You Gave Me A Yellow Rose Today are songs that transcend death and loss. Let Me Shine In Your Light is a toe-tapping gospel crossover. Little Bird tells of hope through darkness. Nancy-Lee is a true blue country girl, born in Country Music Capital, Tamworth, N.S.W., and raised on country sunshine at the small town of Duri. She has now made her home in The Redlands, Queensland. She has won many awards at Country Music Festivals. Apart from her solo work she also sings with local group "Top Note". Her love for music began at a very early age and as a teenager developed a great love for country music and jazz. Nancy-Lee joined a jazz band singing with "The John Charles Combo" at the Tamworth Travelodge every Saturday night for years, bringing some country music to the group. Nancy-Lee is a member of The Redlands Modern Country Music Club. Her debut C.D. "My Little Angel" was released in September 2003. Her title song "My Little Angel" has touched the hearts of all who have heard it. 2nd C.D. "A Gift Of Love" was released in May 2005. 3rd C.D. "Dancing Shoes" was released in August 2006. Latest C.D. "On Wings Of Love" was released in May 2008.
